From Weekend Writing Prompts to Junior Jargon Prompts and Wordy Kids Prompts, writers of different ages and experience levels can find fresh inspiration, practice their craft, and encourage one another. Our recurring prompts are designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and nurture a love of writing while lifting up the Lord Jesus Christ.
In The Beginning
Author Wendi S. Harrington found an avid reader in Tonya Davenport, who was always ready to offer feedback and encouragement. Early writing and poetry challenges inspired Wendi and her daughter, Roni, to write alongside one another. Melissa Lynn joined the collaboration, and from their shared creativity and encouragement, the PWE Community was born!
Positive Creative Expression
This is a place to build your brand, develop your voice, and hone your craft. By keeping Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone of our community, we can edify one another throughout the writing journey. A community of writers is an invaluable resource when you get stuck in a rut or frustrated with the writing process. This community was designed to offer feedback and encouragement every step of the way.
Our Community Standards
Writers of all ages and experience levels are welcome in the PWE Community. Because children and families participate here, all shared writing, artwork, comments, and discussions must be clean, modest, faith-friendly, and safe for young readers. Content should encourage creativity without graphic violence, sexual material, profanity, crude humor, or other themes unsuitable for children. Our purpose is to help writers develop their gifts, encourage one another, and use the written word to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

Do you have to live in the local area to join the PWE Writing Community?
No. You do not have to live locally to participate in the PWE Community. Local members may be invited to in-person events from time-to-time. Membership is not dependent on your ability to participate in such activites.
Do I lose the rights to my work when I share it here?
No. All rights remain with the author of the work.
How old do you have to be to join the PWE Community?
The PWE Community is open to anyone who can read and write. Minors need parental consent. Parents are encouraged to join the Community also, even if you do not write.
