My Stength

O Lord--

You alone are my strength

in this weary world

that makes my heart heavy

to hear all the bad news.

You alone are the only One

that gives me strength.

I thank you that

Your mercies are new every morning

even when we don't deserve it.

I sing Your praises daily

to exalt Your mighty Name.
